Coming June 16-20, MSU-Great Falls, in partnership with the Tech Prep IV and the Montana Business and Information Technology Educators (MBITE), will be offering the 5th annual Montana Institute on Educational Technology. This event combines topical seminars on classroom technologies, best
practices, applications and more. This year’s keynote will be Richie Boyd of MSU speaking about Emerging Technologies and Their Impact on Education.
In addition to the MIET, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center will be having the kickoff at MSU - Great Falls for their Summer 2008 Field Institute for Teachers, Lewis and Clark in the Classroom. OPI Renewal Units
All courses are eligible for the Office of Public Instruction (OPI) Renewal Units. One Renewal Unit form is required for each class attended. One hour of class time is equal to one Renewal Unit. Forms will be available at registration.
Graduate Credits
Participants who register for all five (5) days of the Institute, with a minimum of 32 hours of class time, will be eligible to receive two (2) graduate credits through MSU - Bozeman. In order to receive the credits, participants will be required to pay tuition of $225 (payable to MSU - Bozeman) plus complete an additional assignment to be submitted with the MSU - Bozeman registration form at the end of the Institute. Note: The $225 tuition for graduate credits is in ADDITION to the registration fees listed below and is not due until the end of the Institute.
