Community Enrichment Courses

PCE courses expose you to educational opportunities that enhance the quality of your development and performance on both a professional and personal level. PCE offers both academic credit and non-credit courses, programs, workshops, seminars, conferences and contract training. Course delivery includes face-to-face, online, and blended learning opportunities for our students, community members, professionals and area businesses.

PCE for Professionals
Earn academic credit, CEUs or OPI Renewal Units for teacher recertification and upward salary mobility. Educators can either choose from a variety of individual courses supporting the most current pedagogy, resources and topics of interest for hands-on application in the classroom or participate in our annual technology institute, MIET. PCE courses also provide continuing education opportunities for current healthcare professionals needing education as part of their recertification, relicensure and/or professional development.

PCE for Students
MSU - Great Falls’ enrolled students can take credit-bearing PCE courses as program electives, (as approved by their advisor), and/or to meet their financial aid requirements.

PCE for Community Members
In addition to credit courses and programs, our non-credit PCE offerings include a variety of courses to help you gain new skills or update your current ones for career transitioning, professional develpment, personal interest or
lifelong learning goals.

PCE for Business
In an effort to respond to business and workforce development efforts in our community, the Outreach Department offers a variety of PCE options when it comes to workforce training. You can choose to send your employees to currently scheduled PCE courses or, through our Contract Training Office, have specific training customized to meet the needs of your business.
